Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking a SkillBridge Intern for the F-22/35 Variable Air Threat Simulator program. The intern will train as a VATS Simulator Instructor Pilot/Weapon Systems Operator, focusing on mission planning, operations, and debriefing within a military training environment.

Responsibilities

The intern will actively train on meaningful projects and work closely with a mentor and with senior company leadership

At the end of three months, the intern will be able to develop mission scenarios in coordination with customer requirements, operate and troubleshoot missions, operate debrief system and assist local customer mission debrief analysis

The intern will develop an understanding of VATS MTC technical documentation and development of Site Issue Reports (SIR) for maintenance and operation deficiencies

Required

Active-Duty Military ONLY within final 180 days of active-duty service. Applications accepted within final 12 months of active-duty US Military service

Current or previous military fighter pilot with 15+ years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13+ years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19+ years relevant experience

Strong written and oral communication skills

Work Environment: Position is not eligible for remote work; on-site support is required. Must be capable of working morning and evening shifts to accommodate flexible schedule training operations

Current/active TS/SCI clearance with relevant SAP/SAR read-ons required
