The Test Lab Engineer will act as a technical resource for global mobility test teams, responsible for testing to support application design and product development, while also developing test equipment and techniques.

Responsibilities

Responsible for creation, execution, analysis and reporting of development and validation test plans which provide repeatable, accurate, relevant, and timely test data and information

Responsible for new test equipment designs, methods, procedures, and modification of equipment and instrumentation with guidance as needed

Responsible for the efficient usage of test resources, which could also include managing of lab personnel or contract test engineers

Proactively Initiates and implements continuous improvement projects to reduce costs, decrease test time and increase lab and development cycle time with guidance as needed

Helps to identify and communicate testing non-conformances and recommend and implement corrective actions

Participates in project team activities across multiple Gates positions and facilities to meet customer requirements and timing
