The Electrical Engineer II will play a key role in the manufacturing operation of Modine’s data center cooling product, leading electrical subsystems projects from concept through production and ensuring designs are manufacturable and scalable.

Responsibilities
Support panel layouts, wiring designs, and documentation with a strong focus on design for manufacturability (DFM/DFA)
Support the transition from prototype builds to repeatable production, minimizing rework and improving build efficiency.Coordinate closely with panel shops, wiring teams, operations, and design engineering during build and ramp-up phases
Create as needed, maintain, and improve structured configurable (Super) BOMs to support product variants, regional requirements, and scalable production
Ensure alignment between electrical schematics, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation
Provide hands-on electrical support during prototype builds, testing, and commissioning
Troubleshoot electrical and controls integration issues in collaboration with controls, test, and operations teams
Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to improve design robustness
Interface effectively with mechanical engineering, controls, operation, quality, sourcing, and program teams
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of electrical design standards and best practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
3+ years of experience in electrical design for industrial or mechanical systems
Proficiency with electrical CAD tools (i.e. AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN)
Experience working with cross-functional teams in a product development environment
