Senior Test Technician

Responsibilities
Performs functional and operational tests on circuit boards and chassis in a fast-paced production environment
Troubleshoot and repair electronic circuit boards and systems down to the component level
Support hardware validation and verification activities during development and production phases
Interpret schematics PCP and Layouts, to diagnosed failures accurately
Troubleshoot products using oscilloscopes and digital volt meters
Configures and tests end products to meet customer and company specifications and requirements
Configures test equipment to meet multiple testing requirements based on product and customer specifications
Evaluates returned products for failures
Maintains accurate documentation of product test results and updates troubleshooting logs
Qualification
Required
Experience performing functional test and diagnostics using custom PC based test equipment and software
Working knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task to meet multiple deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work over time when needed
Maintain safe working practices and comply with safety and quality standards
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate professionally across the organization
Excellent organizational, presentation, troubleshooting, and multi-tasking skills
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
Strong attention to detail and exceptional customer support
Must be able to work independently and as a team member
Ability to prioritize and be flexible in a fast-paced environment
Minimum of 3 years of electronic technician experience, including troubleshooting to the component level, in a production environment
Preferred
Associate degree in electronic hardware systems engineering or equivalent from the military or technical school preferred
