Responsibilities

Work with an experienced process control engineer to implement industrial automation at one of our three Canton Steel facilities

Utilize PLCs (Programable Logic Controllers), Servers, Robotics, and an assortment of other computer hardware to improve and automate the making of steel

Develop HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces) to improve end-user experience and overall process efficiency

Interact with programming tools such as: Ladder Logic, Visual Studio C#, SQL, and more

Gain exposure to or assist on projects such as: installation of new robotic equipment, modernization of our PLC infrastructure, and other activities that improve factory safety, steel quality, production rates, data collection, and the reliability of our equipment
