They are seeking a Senior Model Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to support the US Space Force's Defensive Cyber Operations-Space program by architecting and managing a model-based systems engineering environment.

Responsibilities

Architecting, developing, and managing a model-based system engineering (MBSE) environment for capturing all project content

Provide support to the Architect Lead for executing the model-based systems engineering (MBSE) effort

Experience implementing systems engineering processes using MBSE Tools

Can depict technical approaches, designs, block diagrams, and implementations in written and graphical form

Required to work onsite at government or government leased facility

Must have active DoD TOP SECRET with SCI clearance or TOP SECRET with ability to get SCI clearance

Bachelors degree in Engineering (Systems, Software, Network, Computer)- or Computer Science ABET accredited school required

MUST have 10+ years of relevant experience in MBSE approach to systems engineering

Proficient using systems engineering modeling tools (e.g., MagicDraw, CORE, Cameo Systems Modeler or MapleMBSE) to support system requirements, design, analysis, verification & validation, and continuing throughout development and later life-cycle phases

Demonstrated ability to devise solutions for complex problems that require in-depth analysis of tangible and intangible factors

Experience working as a member of a multi-disciplinary project team that may include engineers, scientists, designers, and technicians

Strong verbal and written communication skills necessary to effectively collaborate in a team environment; present and explain technical information to colleagues, management, or sponsors

Preferred

Masters degree in engineering

Top Secret (TS) security clearance (with SCI and SAP eligibility) is HIGHLY desired

INCOSE certification

Space systems background

Velocity templating language

Understanding of versioning control and database management

Understanding of frameworks such as Unified Architecture Framework (UAF), Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Tactical Open Government Architecture Framework (TOGAF) and languages such as Unified Modeling Language (UML) and System Modeling Language (SysML)

Project management experience, to include management of administrative requirements and deliverable tracking
