Education
Responsibilities
Performs data collection and calculations according to established policies and procedures
Interprets and communicates results
Makes presentations on research results
Assists with writing research papers, conducts library research and prepares bibliographic materials
Cleans and maintains research areas, makes buffers and common reagents
Maintains supplies and orders as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a field related to the position
Prior laboratory research experience
Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e. Microsoft Office suite)
Strong attention to detail and follow up skill
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
Preferred
Previous experience within the area of study
