VP of Sales - Warehouse Automation
John Charles Search is a global leader in advanced material handling solutions, and they are seeking a high-impact VP of Sales to lead its U.S. commercial organisation. The VP of Sales will oversee a national sales organization, driving new business growth and key account expansion while managing a team of 16 sales professionals.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the full U.S. sales organisation, including strategy, structure, performance, and development
Drive aggressive new business growth while ensuring strong account management and customer retention
Own P&L responsibilities, forecasting, budgeting, and commercial planning
Execute a national growth strategy aligned with the executive team’s objectives
Strengthen team capability through coaching, leadership, and talent development
Qualification
Required
Proven senior sales leadership experience in industrial automation, material handling, or a related engineered-solutions environment
Strong new business development track record with the ability to open, grow, and scale major accounts
Demonstrated P&L ownership, commercial forecasting, and strategic planning experience
A confident, independent, and self-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
Experienced in building, developing, and motivating high-performing commercial teams
A hands-on, 'go-getter' mentality with strong executive presence
