Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on generator systems
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with generators
Conduct load bank testing and performance evaluations
Maintain accurate records of all service and repair activities
Provide technical support and guidance to customers
Respond to emergency service calls in a timely manner
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a generator technician or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of generator systems, both diesel and gas-powered
Proficient in troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical systems
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as required
Preferred
Technical certification or associate degree in a related field
