Responsibilities

Develop and drive media relations strategies across all global markets; develop and update the annual media & PR calendar and own global media relations process and in/outsourcing policy
Work closely with and be central point of contact for Media and Public Relations for: C-level Executive and Functional Leadership Global & regional teams: IR Relations (investors), Government Relations (government), HR / Internal Communications (employees, students), MS&S (customers), SCM (suppliers), Branding & Content, Marketing & Digital Communications Tier-one media, journalists, and influencers for all end markets & segments External Global PR Agencies manage and coordinate the network to ensure consistent and effective execution of PR activities in all regions. External customers: OEMs, Distributor Managed OEMs (DOEMs), distributor partners, end users / fleet
Prepare and/or orchestrate the creation and distribution of corporate and local press releases and spokesperson briefings. Build impactful, memorable, positive stories which touch the hearts and minds (emotion); stories customized to resonate with all different key stakeholders, cultures and local media landscapes: from C-level executives, investors and bankers, media & journalists, purchasers, to OEMs, distributors, dealers, fleet managers. From cultures in North America, South America, Europe, Middle East & Africa to Asia Pacific
Deliver executive visibility programs (interviews, panels), leadership talking points and organize and manage press conferences globally
Serve as the official voice of the company to the public and media; train or enable training (e.g. through 3rd party) for authorized corporate leaders to speak to media and in public
Shape and deliver crisis communications with external parties and issues response, ensuring a coordinated and timely response
Track and analyze media coverage to gauge enterprise campaign effectiveness and reputation impact (Share of Voice, quality of coverage, sentiment analysis, PR Value etc.) Create & distribute regularly communications performance dashboard to key stakeholders
Maintain a consistent corporate/enterprise narrative in our press releases and media collateral

Required

Bachelor's or Master degree in Media & Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism or a related field
12+ years of experience in international public relations, preferably a mix of corporate/agency experience in a technology-focused industry, including leadership experience in a large multinational company
Strong written & verbal communications and public speaking and presentation skills, with experience as a company spokesperson
Ability to develop and implement effective communication plans that align with organizational objectives
A deep understanding of how different media outlets work and how to leverage them for the company's benefit. Adaptable for evolving digital trends, AI technology in specific
Strong planning and organizational abilities are necessary for managing multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously
The ability to build and maintain positive and strong relationships with media professionals and internal (Executive/Leadership) stakeholders
Able to work effectively in a matrixed, global organization, with cross-functional and intercultural collaboration skills
Must be native English speaker
