Corporate Tax Senior Analyst
Waters Corporation is a global leader in analytical instruments and separations technologies, and they are seeking a Tax Senior on the Corporate Tax Team. The role involves providing global income tax planning, quarterly financial reporting, and US tax compliance support, while collaborating with various tax and finance team members.

Responsibilities
Preparation/review of federal, state and local tax filings related to income tax and franchise tax, including quarterly estimates and extensions using OneSource Income Tax. Preparation/review and analysis of all underlying workpapers supporting tax positions taken on returns
Assist with the international tax compliance process for US filings including the Earnings and Profits calculations and forms 5471 and 8858; coordinate with Treasury department on intercompany distributions
Keep current on US tax law changes – including OBBB and changes to GILTI, BEAT, FDII, 163j
Keep current on global tax matters – including Pillar 2 issues
Support team in preparation of Quarterly and YE Financial Reporting under ASC 740 for U.S. public company filings; includes significant foreign operations; use OneSource Tax Provision
Audit defense for income tax audits by tax authorities – support preparation of responses
Support team in coordination with outside advisors and local finance teams in foreign jurisdictions as needed – for planning, financial reporting, transfer pricing or audit defense
Work on special income tax projects with outside advisors as needed
Significant opportunities with expected changes from announced transaction to acquire businesses from BD
Qualification
