Responsibilities
Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production and processing equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and maintain machinery
Execute scheduled maintenance and maintain accurate records
Coordinate with production, engineering, and external vendors for maintenance or complex repairs
Maintain a safe and organized work environment following 5S and standard operating procedures
Support process consistency and improvement initiatives
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and equipment diagrams
Mentor and train less experienced technicians (for higher levels)
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required; vocational certificate or Associate's degree preferred
Level 1 - 1–3 years relevant experience
Level 2 - 1–3+ years with demonstrated process knowledge and training skills
Level 3 - 3–5+ years with leadership and mentorship experience
Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge; familiarity with PLCs preferred
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and work orders
Strong planning, organizational, and time-management abilities
Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
Problem-solving and process improvement skills
Technical aptitude and motivation for continuous learning
Microsoft Office
Preferred
vocational certificate or Associate's degree
Journeyman's certificate or equivalent preferred for advanced levels
familiarity with PLCs preferred
