Responsibilities

Train new and existing, planners and advisors, in all financial planning pillars, sometimes independently and sometimes in conjunction with advisors or internal SMEs
Utilize interactive teaching methods, such as case studies, group discussions, simulations, and technology tools to make training sessions engaging and impactful
Design and/or help develop training programs
Design, create, and regularly review training materials/case studies/job aids/references that will aid in learning
Become a subject matter expert in various technical areas related to Ayco’s business, services and products
Assist with the overall maintenance of Ayco’s learning management system, including evaluating and implementing additional features/enhancements
Create and maintain e-learning training content for Ayco’s financial counseling businesses, includes other internal groups as needed
Act as a technical resource for associates, as needed
Work closely with Content Specialists, PMs, and others in a collaborative team environment
Support the Training and Development team with other initiatives as requested
Associate must understand and adhere to all policies and procedures including, but not limited to, quality, client service, information security, and compliance

Required

Bachelor's Degree
Strong technical, analytical and research skills

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Exemplary discretion and judgment

Strong knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft products including Word, Excel, Windows, PowerPoint and Outlook

Preferred

Advanced Degree – JD, MBA, or CFP
3 – 5 years in the financial services industry
Training or teaching experience
Articulate and SharePoint software experience
Knowledge of the Ayco business lines
