Federal Financial Manager

Responsibilities
Serve as the day-to-day lead for a major consulting workstream, overseeing two dedicated senior consultants and collaborating with the broader team
Lead and participate in client-facing meetings, manage expectations, and provide strategic guidance
Review and develop financial management work products, ensuring compliance with OMB Circular A-123, FMFIA, and the Green Book
Coordinate and execute improper payment risk assessments in accordance with Appendix C
Manage project timelines and deliverables in a fast-paced federal environment
Provide technical guidance and oversight on documentation of business cycles, internal controls, walkthroughs, testing, and reporting
Support fraud risk management and control development activities as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience leading financial management projects in the federal space
Strong knowledge of OMB Circular A-123, especially Appendix A and Appendix C
Prior experience leading internal control testing, developing risk assessments, and managing audit readiness efforts
Must hold one of the following certifications: CPA, CIA, or CGFM
Demonstrated experience managing teams, reviewing workpapers, and presenting findings to clients
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with federal clients and internal teams
Security Clearance: Must be able to pass a basic government suitability check (US Citizenship required)
