Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP Finance solutions
Conduct business requirements analysis and translate them into effective SAP FICO configurations
Develop and maintain detailed technical specifications and system documentation
Translate business requirements into technical specifications
Manage end-to-end SAP FICO projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget
Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution
Coordinate with project stakeholders to gather requirements and provide regular project updates
Manage multiple projects simultaneously
Participate in project planning and management activities
Ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP) and external systems
Design and implement data interfaces to facilitate information flow between SAP FICO and other systems
Address integration issues and perform thorough testing to validate system functionality
Provide technical guidance and support for SAP FICO configurations, customizations, and enhancements
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to SAP FICO
Conduct system testing and validation
Conduct system performance tuning and optimization to ensure efficient operation
Work closely with business units, IT teams, and external partners to understand requirements and deliver solutions
Ensure solutions are scalable and maintainable
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives
Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance user understanding and adoption of SAP FICO
Stay updated with the latest SAP FICO SAP functionality, tools, and best practices
Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements
Lead initiatives to implement new features and SAP functionality in SAP FICO
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, customizations, and processes
Support audit activities and provide necessary documentation for regulatory reviews
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in SAP Finance (FICO) implementation and support
Proven experience in leading SAP FICO projects and delivering end-to-end solutions
Proven track record of delivering high-quality SAP FICO solutions
Extensive experience in integrating SAP FICO with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP) and external systems
Deep understanding of SAP Finance (FICO) functionality, configuration, and customization
Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA OnPrem, Private Cloud, and Public Cloud
Experience with data migration, system integration, and interface development
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with system testing and validation
Strong documentation, communication and interpersonal skills
Strong relationship skills with clients' financial community and leadership
Strong experience with project planning and management and project leadership
Experience with supporting pre-sales
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
Up to date with the latest SAP technologies and trends
Preferred
A master's degree is preferred
SAP certification in Finance (FICO) or relevant SAP modules is preferred
