They are seeking a Student Engineer to join their Advanced EV Development team for a 6-month program, where the candidate will assist in vehicle-level testing and collaborate with engineering teams to enhance testing methodologies and contribute to vehicle validation.

Responsibilities
Assist with vehicle-level testing (e.g., powertrain performance, range, efficiency, towing, etc.)
Collaborate with various engineering teams (e.g., homologation, calibration, powertrain, aerodynamics, chassis, thermal) on testing efforts
Contribute to improving testing methodologies and measurement techniques
Assist with chassis dynamometer lab equipment commissioning, maintenance, and calibration
Plan, execute, and document full vehicle validation testing in various locations (must be willing to travel)
Support validation of vehicle software and hardware changes related to energy management, range, and performance attributes
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Aerodynamics/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
Basic understanding or strong interest in dynamometer or aerodynamic testing
First-principles approach to engineering problem solving
Understanding of instrumentation sensor characteristics
Basic proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or similar data analysis tools
