Responsibilities
Data Centre Management: Direct the daily operations of data center facilities, ensuring uptime, efficiency, and optimal performance of hardware, software, and network systems
Lead IT Operations: Oversee and manage the IT infrastructure, ensuring continuous availability and stability for 24/7 operations within a high-scale studio environment
High-End Networking & Topology: Design, implement, and manage complex network architectures to support the studio’s operational needs, ensuring seamless connectivity and communication across all platforms
Security & Compliance: Develop and enforce security protocols to protect sensitive data, applications, and IT infrastructure, while maintaining compliance with industry standards and best practices
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to ensure the studio’s IT operations are efficient, innovative, and scalable
Troubleshooting & Incident Response: Ensure quick response and resolution to IT-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to studio operations
Capacity Planning & Scalability: Continuously monitor IT systems, analyse performance data, and plan for scalability to support the studio’s growth and evolving needs
Collaboration: Work closely with senior management, studio executives, and other technical teams to align IT strategy with the studio’s long-term goals
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in leading IT operations for a high-availability, 24/7 operational environment (preferably in a studio or similar high-scale setting)
Strong expertise in data center operations, networking, and topology, with a deep understanding of high-end networking technologies
Experience managing infrastructure, networking, and security in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Hands-on experience with cloud computing, virtualization, and data storage technologies
In-depth knowledge of IT security, risk management, and compliance requirements
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while delivering reliable and scalable IT solutions
