Senior Human Resources Manager
Empowered Hospitality is hiring an exceptional Senior Human Resources Manager for a growing fast-casual, quick-service restaurant client in New York, NY. The role involves overseeing compliance, managing employee relations, and leading recruitment and onboarding processes.

Responsibilities
Oversee compliance for the business and responsible for building necessary structure (SOPs, guides, training) to support ongoing compliance
Own employee relations and investigations with discretion and care in partnership with team
Translate employee feedback into actionable insights and next steps
Coach GMs and emerging leaders on communication, accountability, and team building
Maintain HRIS and ensure compliance with labor laws and wage/hour regulations
Lead recruiting and onboarding for GMs, AMs, and support roles
Build compliant and scalable systems for hiring, training, and performance management
Partner with operations to forecast staffing needs and succession planning
Build HR team to own key HR admin responsibilities like payroll, benefits admin, and more
Qualification
Required
3+ years of HR experience, ideally in fast casual or QSR environments
Proven success recruiting and developing multi-unit restaurant leaders
Experience managing HR compliance and employee relations
Strong EQ and communication skills—you build trust and translate tough feedback into action
A builder's mindset—comfortable creating systems from scratch
A practical, operator-friendly approach to HR that focuses on people and performance
Spanish fluency is required
Preferred
Experience overseeing payroll ideal, but not required
Experience with Fair Work Week Regulations ideal, but not required
