Sr. Regional Sales Manager, ASIA Military
HEICO is a leading company in technical sales and distribution of aerospace components. The Senior Regional Sales Manager will assist the VP of Military Sales in setting market strategies for the Asia-Pacific region and manage all military-related customer activities to maximize sales and market share.

Responsibilities
Assists the VP of Military Sales in setting marker strategies, by country and military entity, within the Asia-Pacific Region
Manages all Military & Military-related Customers, Sales Agent and/or Trade Partner activities, priorities and performance within the Region
Coordinates sales opportunities with the SD-NY Team and FMS Programs Manager, to maximize sales and market share capture
Identifies, prioritizes, establishes and manages SD links to various military electronic sourcing sites (bid boards)
Drives development of direct Customers / Agents / Rep sales plans and Product Management Team in advance of customer visits. Following the visit, aids in construction of final visit reports, outlining findings, actions and market intelligence acquisition
Aids Team members regarding the Export Compliance process (acquisition of required documentation)
Technically understands the functionality of all products and can effectively sell by differentiating from competition
Makes sales calls and travels to customers with Agents and Reps, in addition to accounts managed by themselves
Executes tactical sales meetings at customer facilities to include Engineering Support. Examples: Defense Logistics Agencies, Program and Supply Chain Management offices, Military Bases/Depots, Government Contracted MRO’s, etc
Develop relationships with a balanced cross section of customer contacts and decision makers related to the various government facilities outlined above
Maintains appropriate relationships as customer organizations and contacts change
Constantly identify opportunities for existing Strategic Partner (SP) products as well as New Product Development opportunities based on competitor targets, reliability, performance, availability, price, etc. Promotes Seal Dynamics as a partner to provide solutions
Ensures customer satisfaction by overseeing the entire sales process and the relationship between Seal Dynamics and customers
Monitors competitors in the marketplace and industry trends that impact buying decisions and present potential risks
Responsible for delivering sales presentations and collecting information about the customer to assist in the development of marketing plans and sales strategies to increase sales
Ability to develop budgets and forecasts on a quarterly basis
Works with all functions of the organization to deliver results according to expectations
Works in tandem with the Product Managers and Strategic Partners to drive programs at selected customers utilizing a number of approaches, including the CRM tool
Engages in collection activities when accounts become past due in coordination with the Finance team
Keeps up to date on industry and product trends
Helps with projects related to the sales team
Responds to emails on the same day (within 24 hours when traveling)
Ability to work remotely from home office
Master’s the tools available to manage sales activities
Continuously educate and expand knowledge of products and related systems
Maintain constant communication with all interested parties (external and internal)
Qualification
Required
Highly motivated with a passion to achieve exceptional results
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Proven business and engineering acumen
Negotiation skills to address challenges and maximize profitability
General understanding of contracts to represent SD's best interests
Ability to adapt to unexpected situations, overcome obstacles and find solutions
Ability to quickly respond to requests and close deals with a sense of urgency
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities and stay organized and meet deadlines
Effectively utilize computer tools, systems and reports to access information independently
Team player, willing to work with a diverse mix of individuals, placing team before self
Willingness to work odd hours on occasion
Exhibit the highest level of professionalism and ethical behavior
BS Degree in engineering, marketing, business, or related field
Minimum 10 years of sales experience (min. of 5 years within the military sector - preferably in distribution)
Direct experience working in, or with Government and Military Agencies
Ability to access Military facilities
Ability to travel extensively
Ability to spend hours traversing through Military Depots, Bases and MRO facilities
Ability to work on a computer 8 hours per day
