Responsibilities

Administer VMware environments, Windows/Linux servers, and SAN storage (Dell, HPE)

Maintain server standards, configurations, and best practices

Monitor performance and ensure high availability

Deploy and configure hardware, patch systems, and address vulnerabilities

Support AD, DNS, DHCP, ADFS, GPO, and key enterprise applications

Manage IT tools such as BMC, CyberArk, Symantec, OpManager

Oversee backups (Veritas, Veeam, Falconstor)

Track warranties, contracts, and assist Helpdesk when needed

Participate in scheduled maintenance, cutovers, or escalated issues after hours

Support routing, switching, firewalls, Wi-Fi, and VPN for production and DR sites

Maintain network standards, structured cabling, and performance monitoring

Assist with capacity planning, traffic engineering, and hardware deployments

Manage network inventories, warranties, and provide team coverage when required

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to overall IT goals
