Strategic Procurement Manager – Professional Services
Confidential Jobs is seeking a Strategic Procurement Manager specializing in Professional Services. The role involves leading sourcing initiatives, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with sourcing standards while delivering measurable savings through effective negotiation and contract management.

Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners, ensuring a client-centric approach
Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives across Professional Services subcategories including:
Consulting (Management, Strategy, Project Management)
Contractors (MSPs/VMS)
HR, Legal, Insurance, Translation Services
Manage RFx processes (RFPs, RFIs, eAuctions), including drafting documentation, leading evaluations, and driving supplier selection
Translate complex business requirements into sourcing solutions that align with organizational goals
Develop financial models, baselines, and negotiation strategies to deliver measurable savings
Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring favorable commercial terms, compliance, and issue resolution
Draft and review contracts (SOWs, MSAs, amendments) with limited legal support
Maintain market awareness and contribute to sourcing strategies, including trends in outsourcing, digital transformation, risk management, and nearshoring
Build and manage relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with sourcing standards and tools
Qualification
Required
Several years of sourcing/procurement experience with a strong focus on Professional Services (especially Consulting)
Proven track record leading multi-million-dollar sourcing projects
Strong negotiation experience and ability to draft/review contracts independently
Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to influence at senior levels
Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and sourcing systems (RFx tools, eAuctions, vendor management)
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Supply Chain concentration a plus
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Eligible to work in the U.S. and able to commute regularly to Midtown Manhattan and Jersey City
