The Dental Application Engineer will support customers in adopting and succeeding with Shining 3D's scanning, printing, and CAD/CAM workflows, providing both pre-sales and post-sales technical expertise and training.

Responsibilities

Provide customer-facing sales support to resellers and end users
Create internal and external technical user guides
Provide technical training to resellers and end users
Repair scanners and printers as needed
Showing empathy towards customer complaints and sensitive situations
Communicate customer/reseller requests and complaints to R&D
Evaluating new products and testing new software/features
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time to assist customers/resellers on site and to travel to exhibitions

Qualification

CAD/CAM experienceTroubleshooting skillsCustomer service skillsBasic IT skillsBilingual SpanishBilingual EnglishTechnical trainingDental lab experienceCollaboration skillsProblem-solving skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, mathematics, or dental-related field is highly preferred
Dental lab technician, dental assistant, or dental hygienist experience
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills
CAD/CAM experience
Bilingual highly desired (Spanish and English)
Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
Basic IT skills, file systems, software navigation
Ability to lift 50lbs, use a computer with a mouse and keyboard, sit or stand for long periods
