SolveNow is seeking a Project Engineer III Team Lead to guide a small team of engineers and CAD designers on substation design projects. The role involves overseeing project deliverables, maintaining client relationships, and supporting business development.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and coordinate the work of junior engineers, designers, and CAD operators on the assigned team

Act as the main point of contact for customers overseeing existing projects, ensuring satisfaction, and supporting planning for future work

Demonstrate strong expertise across substation engineering disciplines, including physical layout, protection and control design, relay programming, field support, commissioning, and relay testing

Perform and direct engineering design tasks, including calculations, use of design software, and adherence to engineering manuals and procedures

Manage and guide the preparation of detailed project documents such as specifications and bid packages

Review and refine full plan sets to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with design intent

Supervise and support the development of Project Engineer I and II team members

Use Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook for daily project and communication needs

Collaborate effectively with staff at all organizational levels

Carry out other duties as needed within the scope of the position
