Walmart Canada is seeking a Principal, Technical Program Manager to lead complex, large-scale technology programs integrating VIZIO OS with Walmart’s platform. The role involves managing cross-functional dependencies, driving end-to-end delivery, and enhancing operational excellence through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

Define program goals, stage gates, critical delivery paths, and key deliverables for large-scale technical programs with multiple dependencies

Secure commitments for scope, delivery dates, and resources while managing cross-functional dependencies

Translate product requirements into technical designs and system architecture for scalable, high-availability solutions

Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and manage issues to ensure program progress

Drive continuous improvement of workflows, automation, and operational excellence frameworks

Communicate progress, risks, and impacts clearly to stakeholders and program teams

Look around corners to anticipate and mitigate speed bumps

Partner closely with cross-functional leaders including Business, Product, Engineering, Design, and Legal

Required

Extensive experience in program and project management, including risk and stakeholder management across complex, cross-functional initiatives

Proven ability to define and execute end-to-end program plans, managing dependencies, timelines, and resources effectively

Strong technical expertise in system architecture, technical design, and cloud infrastructure to guide scalable and high-availability solutions

Skilled in communicating complex technical and program information clearly to a broad range of stakeholders and teams

Demonstrated analytical problem-solving capabilities with data-driven decision-making and impact analysis

Experience driving continuous improvement in processes and ways of working
