Responsibilities

Lead the development of a comprehensive long-term merchandising strategy for the respective business
Develop and establish line architectures that meet regional requirements and align with financial targets and regional growth opportunities
Drive SKU productivity and efficiency improvements across the respective business
Manage marketplace operations by implementing segmentation and exclusivity strategies aligned with channel and business objectives
Collaborate with Channel Merchandising and Product Teams to identify new growth opportunities and revenue streams
Support Go-to-Market initiatives in partnership with Marketing, including seasonal storytelling, investment priorities, and product launches
Conduct post-mortem analyses to track market shifts and evaluate performance metrics, enabling agile responses to business trends
Present category/gender business results at cross-functional meetings, fostering consensus and relationships with key partners
Build Consensus and Relationships with Cross-Functional Partners and act as a dynamic change agent, thought-leader, and connector to drive Merchandising excellence at UA
Lead and mentor a high-preforming team to promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and trust

Required

Bachelor's degree with typically 10 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with typically 8 years of relevant experience or typically 14 years of relevant experience without degree
Typically 3 - 5 years of management experience; or equivalent experience as the subject matter lead or expert in area of expertise
Demonstrated track record of leadership in merchandising and business growth
Proven ability to develop profitable merchandising strategies and collaborate effectively across internal teams
Strong leadership and mentorship skills, fostering a collaborative environment that drives outstanding results
Decisive and resolute in decision-making, even in ambiguous situations
