They are seeking a Lead Transportation Support Services Coordinator to provide day-to-day support for TSS Associates, monitor workload levels, assist management, and handle customer issues. The role involves mentoring associates and ensuring efficient task assignments and communication.

Responsibilities

Acting as subject matter expert to TSS Associates on the floor and perform TSS duties if necessary

Assist in mentoring new and existing TSS Associates and ensure junior Associates are seated with senior Associates as necessary

Assist Management in monitoring calls, perform quality audits, and carry out special requirements

Provide follow up to internal and external customer requests through email and by phone

Assist Supervisor in managing TSS Associates' breaks, lunches, work assignments, etc

Other duties and tasks assigned by supervisor or manager

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent required

1-2 years of previous customer service experience required

1-2 years of call center experience, dispatch, and/or other trucking industry experience required

Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong customer service skills and must be customer oriented

Ability to develop a team required

Must have strong written and verbal communication

Intermediate computer literacy required

Must be a self-starter and be able to act independently and make decisions

Must have a strong sense of urgency

Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history), and drug screening are required
