Responsibilities
Main contact between WWT and customer from beginning to end of a project, ensuring the team meets the customer's needs
Demonstrated ability to carry out consulting activities and methodologies leading to comprehensive discovery, analysis, and technical/business recommendations

Advanced ability to present in-depth technical solutions

Participate with Sales during the sales process through Project Scoping Workshops (PSWs), presentations, solutions, and development of Scopes of Work

Proven track record of customer focus, including the ability to foster long-term client relationships
Ability to successfully manage partner and vendor resources
General understanding of financial forecasting, reporting, and budgeting
Personnel management experience
Expert knowledge of project management principles and practices
Proactively detects technical deficiencies and develops practical, workable solutions to problems
Creates an environment where others feel safe to be open and candid and where conflicting ideas and opinions are regularly discussed
Conveys the WWT vision in accurate and relevant terms that others can identify with, helping others see how things will improve
Stays focused on department and WWT strategic priorities and allocates their time and resources accordingly

Manage large or multi-disciplinary/multi-phased projects, including planning, staffing, budgeting, and delivery
Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and tools to provide best-practice insight and best-in-class recommendations to management
Ensure that all components and their usage are consistent and compliant with all applicable regulatory, departmental, IT, and corporate standards, policies, and guidelines
Manage project risk, up/cross-selling, and oversight of team deliverables
Contribute to the definition of industry best practice through subject matter expertise
Support the organization as required, including project scoping, developing SOWs, and responding to RFIs, and RFPs
Provide appropriate direction and feedback to team members
Ensure that the team identifies, documents, and drives resolution for program issues
Responsible for training and career development of Associate Consultants, Consultants, and Senior Consultants
Mentoring and ensuring that the Associate Consultants, Consultants, and Senior Consultants are hitting target utilization and quality metrics in programs they oversee
Budget and Financial Management of Projects and Programs
Lead the strategic development of comprehensive solutions, leveraging extensive expertise in the technology ecosystem and WWT's internal capabilities to drive business growth and market differentiation
Drive the pursuit of strategic business opportunities, aligning internal teams and ultimately contributing to revenue and profit growth for WWT
Serve as a visionary client engagement leader, deeply understanding needs and addressing them through innovative solutions and transformative recommendations
Build strong internal WWT relationships across sales and services group, driving alignment and synergy in client engagement efforts
Foster a culture of excellence and collaboration in solution development, empowering teams to innovate and deliver transformative solutions that drive client success
Qualification
Required
15+ years of experience in Enterprise IT Management, technology consulting, customer engagement, solution design, or technology delivery
5-7 years of experience as a Lead or Senior Consultant or equivalent experience
Experience working on Data Center Solutions for Enterprise Clients
Ability to strategically lead and execute business development strategies effectively, driving revenue growth and market expansion
Team leadership of solution architects and analysts, guiding them in identifying, shaping, and closing new business opportunities to achieve organizational goals
Deep understanding of competitive intelligence, business requirements, and solution options across diverse industries and technology services to make informed decisions
Bachelor's degree in system architecture, computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field
Preferred
Prior executive role in a customer or industry that WWT works with or supports, Such as Director of IT, VP of IT, CTO, or CTO
Thorough understanding of at least one central WWT technology practice area, key technology partners, and market trends
Post-graduate training in business-related discipline or management
Demonstrated leadership, team building, and management skills
Advanced client-facing skills, including analyzing complex problems and influencing and negotiating with clients
Demonstrated technical consulting experience in one or more vertical sectors: government, public sector, higher education, finance, health care, technology, or other commercial
