Responsibilities
Responsible to for providing expertise for the entire systems development lifecycle, including the planning, consulting and design of Data Center networks and supporting IT systems
Lead various planning and design assignments including development of network architecture, capital planning, cost-benefit analysis, development of basic infrastructure requirements, equipment specifications and cost estimates
Strong verbal and writing skills are key as we develop service hosting strategies, technology master plans and High-Level Design (HLD) deliverables, which require running consulting workshops that culminate in formal written recommendations
Gather existing conditions through site surveys, requests for information, meetings and commissioning at Client sites
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in Translating high-level objectives to technology solutions, with the agility required to learn new products and systems quickly, leveraging fundamental knowledge and skills
Fundamental understanding of the following, with deep expertise in Data Center Network Architecture: Server and Network Virtualization (Bare-Metal, VM and Containerized), Detailed Service Hosting and Migration Strategies, VMWare Horizon - Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Network Security Design Standards and Industry Best Practices, Authentication, Management and Supporting Services (Network Monitoring, Active Directory, Certificate Servers, etc.), Network Storage (Scale-Out NAS, SAN, Fibre Channel)
Working in a team-based production environment providing design consulting and/or enterprise system configuration / troubleshooting
Experience in AEC (Construction) Industry, including the development of formal planning documents, drawings, specifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline (ABET Accredited Programs)
Certifications: VMWare VCP- DCV, Cisco Professional Level Certifications (CCNP Data Center), Cisco Expert Level (CCIE Data Center) or Juniper Specialist Level Certifications (JNCIP-DC)
Preferred
Remote - Must be located in Northeast / Mid-Atlantic Region: Philadelphia, Atlanta, New Jersey (preferred)
Other Certifications: VMWare VCP, Microsoft, NetApp, and Dell/EMC are beneficial but not required
Networking Fundamentals: Campus/Data Center Routing and Switching, Network Security, Campus and Data Center LAN, Wide Area Networks
