Vinci4D.ai is building a co-pilot for hardware designers with a mission to enable mechanical engineers to iterate through designs faster. They are seeking a Computational Fluid Dynamicist to design, develop, and deploy codes for simulating complex geometries and multi-physics applications.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy codes to simulate single and multi-physics (Conjugate Heat Transfer) configurations
Ensure performant code on modern architectures like GPUs
Implement methods to reduce time to solution such as advanced linear and nonlinear solvers
Assist in the strategy, planning the product roadmap, and prioritize the development in partnership with early customers and design partners
Build and ship critical product features
Learn a lot while building products that engineers will love. Also learn about entrepreneurship!

Required

10+ years of experience developing and shipping products
2+ years of experience working on GPU solvers
Experience with Finite Volume incompressible flow solver techniques, linear solver methods and libraries
Experience architecting, training and deploying a feature in resource constrained environments
Experience with the related technologies, libraries, and languages: C++, CUDA, Python
Experience with standard modern software development tools and practices
You are excited about entrepreneurship, taking things from 0 to 1, and have a continuous learning mindset
You are excited about building a solver that will increase engineer productivity by orders of magnitude
You thrive when you have autonomy and ownership over your work

Preferred

Experience with multi-physics solver development is an advantage
Experience with Immersed Boundary Methods is a strong advantage
Startup experience is a strong advantage
Experience with Scientific Machine Learning techniques is a definite advantage
