Project Manager Engineer

Responsibilities
As a Project Management Engineer within CIA's Directorate of Science and Technology (DS&T), you will apply your technical expertise to deliver mission critical, cutting-edge technologies and enable CIA to drive decision advantage for policymakers' hardest challenges
DS&T Project Management Engineers oversee the development and systems integration of technology solutions that meet the nation's most challenging requirements
As a DS&T Project Management Engineer, you will apply program management principles and your technical expertise to deliver mission relevant solutions on time, within budget, and with the highest quality imaginable
As a DS&T Project Management Engineer, you can lead the team that finds that new and innovative solution to help CIA accomplish a mission that most would think was impossible!
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in one of the following fields or related studies (or comparable work experience): Aerospace engineering, Application development, Bioengineering/biomedical engineering, Biological sciences, Biotechnology and microbiology, Chemical engineering, Chemistry, Computer engineering, Computer science, Electrical engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical engineering, Nuclear engineering, Physical sciences, Physics, Remote sensing/GIS, Space systems operations, Systems engineering, Telecommunications
At least a 3.0 GPA on a 4-point scale
Ability to meet the minimum requirements for joining CIA, including U.S. citizenship and a background investigation
You must be physically in the United States or one of its territories when you submit your resume via MyLINK
You must be registered for the Selective Service, if applicable
You must be a U.S. citizen and at least 18 years of age (dual-national US citizens are eligible)
You must be willing to move to the Washington, DC area
You must successfully complete a thorough medical and psychological exam, a polygraph interview, and a comprehensive background investigation
Preferred
Advanced degree or comparable work experience is strongly desired
Experience in one or more of the following areas: Additive manufacturing/rapid prototyping, Advanced data recovery from damaged storage media, Advanced digital data recovery, Analog design and circuits, Artificial intelligence, Battery and power technology, CAD/CADD drafting and design technology, Central bank digital currencies, Data engineering, Data science, Digital signal processing design and programming, Embedded systems, Energy storage technologies, Extended reality, Fabrication skills in a prototype environment, Field programmable gate arrays (FPGA), Fiber optics and cable communications, Graphic design and visual communication, High performance computing, Human DNA technology or forensics, Industrial design and fabrication, Machine learning, Network engineering, Network security, Power systems, Programming, Project/program management, Quantum computing, Quantum sensors, RF communications, RF waveform design, Satellite communications, Signal processing and analysis, Software reverse engineering, Systems architecting, Systems engineering, Prototype design and fabrication, Audio design and circuits, Voice/data communications (satellite, RF, wireless and telecommunications networks)
