Senior Android SDK Engineer
RevenueCat is a leading monetization platform for mobile applications, focusing on in-app subscriptions. They are seeking a Senior SDK Engineer specialized in Android to design, build, and support features that enhance developers' revenue through their SDKs.

Responsibilities
Help design, build, ship, and support end-to-end features and products that will help developers make more money
Primarily focus on the Android SDK but also contribute to iOS SDK and hybrid SDKs when needed
Learn about customers, the SDK, and the in-app subscription ecosystem
Open your first pull request and deploy changes to be used by 32,000+ apps
Onboard into the codebase by working on a project and shipping it
Begin reviewing code and add to the engineering culture
Scope and work on projects self-sufficiently
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improve reliability and quality of the codebase
Understand every product owned by your team and improve many of the codebases
Be the most knowledgeable person on several key features
Have your own initiatives for improving the code base and infrastructure
Contribute to the team roadmap and technical direction
Ship a major product or feature
Know more about mobile subscriptions than anyone ever should
Contribute ideas to RevenueCat’s suite of solutions
Spec, architect and build any feature needed
Help mentor and onboard new engineers, shaping the engineering culture
Help prioritize the roadmap to provide maximum value to developers
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in software, and have shipped mobile apps to Google Play Store
Very experienced in Android, Kotlin, and Jetpack Compose
Not afraid of iOS or hybrid platforms
Love making products for developers
Love shipping good products
Deep empathy for customers
Know how to ship high quality code using good testing practices in iterative cycles
Collaborate well with others and can communicate effectively in a fully-remote culture
Proactive. When you see something broken, you jump on it to fix it or suggest improvements
Move fast, test, and iterate quickly
Ask questions when you're stuck on something
Excited to be part of a growing team
Preferred
Experience in Swift and SwiftUI
Experience building SDKs
Experience in server driven user interfaces
Shipped your own app to Google Play or the App Store
Experience in Python or other backend development
