InternCalPortland is seeking a summer intern for the Construction Group. This internship is ideal for a student interested in construction management and civil engineering, providing opportunities to work on various heavy civil projects and perform tasks across all project phases.

Responsibilities
Complete Safety and OSHA training and any other site/job specific required training
Carry-out and practice all Safety training and company policies in the CalPortland workplace
Assist estimators with quanitity take-offs and quote requests
Assist project managers with material ordering, subcontractor scheduling, measurement/billing, and more
Assist with building a reporting process that can review and qualify all operating and ownership cost
Learn about other CalPortland departments and interface as required
Attend Summer Intern Day event in Las Vegas, NV
Perform other divisional tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Good attendance and punctual
Ability to work independently and in a team setting

Preferred
Experience with SAP
Prior experience or internship in the construction or building materials industry
Prior experience with Bluebeam, AGTEK, P6 and other construction industry software
