Start in 2026 SummerFehr Graham Engineering & Environmental is a fast-growing Midwest engineering and environmental firm seeking motivated Civil Engineering students eager to learn and work on diverse engineering projects. As an intern, you will assist with construction observation, review engineering plans, and develop leadership skills while collaborating with engineers and environmental scientists.
Civil Engineering
Responsibilities
Help with construction observation, including measuring quantities and ensuring construction is completed to standards
Review and edit engineering plans to create a product that meets Fehr Graham standards
Office duties will allow you to sharpen your CAD skills, complete basic design computations and help the project team complete deliverables
Learn engineering standards and how state and local regulations are incorporated into design through work in the office and in the field
Collaborate with engineers, environmental scientists and many more people
Qualification
Required
You must be pursuing an undergraduate, four-year degree in Civil Engineering
You must be familiar with or able to read blueprints
You should work well independently and within a team
You should speak and write well
You should have strong analytical and organizational skills
You must be a team player
