Responsibilities

Creates and implements training tactics in support of brand and learning & development objectives
Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify training needs and develop customized training plans and tactics
Assists and/or leads the design and delivery of training programs, workshops, eLearning modules, and other learning solutions
Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of training programs, recommending and making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes
Ensures operational and tactical execution of the new hire training program & curriculum
Collaborates with key stakeholders to understand and analyze learning needs, opportunities, and challenges to optimize execution of assigned training tactics
Partners with teammates and other internal collaborators to identify and evolve training approaches, tactics, and curriculums
Gains approval for training materials through the Company’s promotional review process and adheres to established SOPs while ensuring that all training activities are in compliance with regulatory and legal requirements
Contributes to innovative ways to design and deliver training, including in-person, virtual, on-demand/self-paced, microlearning
Acts as project manager for tactical execution of training projects, including agency management, timelines, budget and PRC reviews
Manages relationships with strategic partners and vendors to ensure that projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner while remaining on budget

Required

BS/BA degree in business or technical field AND 6+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience required, including 1+ year of internal pharmaceutical sales training or equivalent combination of experience
Prior experience managing vendors and negotiating contracts required
Strong communication, problem-solving, analytical thinking skills
Learning and growth mindset with a propensity to innovative ways to utilize technology to design and deliver impactful training
Expertise in managing multiple vendors and agency partners
Ability to meet multiple deadlines and manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously in a dynamic environment with a sense of urgency and a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
Strong project management skills
Ability to work independently and take lead role on assigned projects while also working collaboratively as part of a team
Excellent listening, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with broad cross functional teams
Strategic, passionate, self-starter
Understands key business drivers and uses this understanding to accomplish work
Strong understanding of processes, procedures and systems used to accomplish the work and recognizes downstream impact on other functional areas
Proficient with tools and processes that support work conducted by functional area
Proven track record of working effectively with regulatory, medical and legal teams in approval of promotional materials based on their strong understanding of legal and regulatory pharmaceutical environment
Self-starter with the ability to work independently
Experience in Sales and Training
Ability to travel up to 30%

Preferred

Master's degree in business or technical field preferred
Experience with product launches preferred
CNS, psychiatry/anti-psychotic and/or Long-term Care experience a plus
Sales management a plus
