Responsibilities

Perform various engineering and project management duties on roadway projects including prepare planning and design documents, process design calculations and preparing cost estimates
Coordinate with other Olsson teams, professional staff, technical staff, and clients
Travel to job sites for observation and attend client meetings

Qualification

Bachelor's in civil engineering4+ years engineering experienceMicroStation Open Roads DesignerAutoCAD Civil 3DRegistered Professional Engineer (PE)Municipal standardsDOT standardsCommunication skillsTeam collaboration

Required

Strong communication skills
Ability to contribute and work well on a team
A minimum of 4+ years of related engineering experience
Experience with MicroStation Open Roads Designer or AutoCAD Civil 3D
Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Kansas, or the ability to obtain within six months
Knowledge of municipal and DOT standards and procedures

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, with an emphasis in transportation preferred
