Responsibilities

Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best bid among potential suppliers

Prepare purchase orders

Track status of requisitions and purchase orders

Evaluate inventory thresholds using ERP data & physical inventory count and initiate replenishment to maintain optimal stock levels

Ensure purchase orders align with production and logistics schedule

Review requisition orders to verify accuracy, terminology and specifications

Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files, reports and price lists

Coordinate with suppliers to expedite shipments and resolve delivery issues
