Responsibilities
Contributes to the overall quality of risk management across Bank OZK
Monitors and analyzes risk data to identify emerging risks and trends, and provides updates and reports to leadership to support decision making around risk mitigation strategies and process improvement
Qualification
Required
Knowledge in SAS, VBA, R, Python, SQL, and Power BI
Knowledge of banking operations and financial services
Knowledge of the financial services regulatory environment
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, including the ability to relay technical information to nontechnical audiences
Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment in decision making
Ability to perform and moderate data analytics and generate reports
Ability to demonstrate initiative to accomplish work objectives
Ability to work effectively and demonstrate flexibility in a continually changing environment
Ability to demonstrate effective organization, time management, critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks with exacting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to maintain attention to detail
Skill in using computer and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, computer science, business administration or related field, or commensurate work experience, required
1+ year of experience as an analyst working with risk, data, or business analytics and/or reporting in a financial services environment required
Preferred
Master's degree in related field
