Accounts Payable Clerk

They are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to support various departments with their accounts payable needs, including processing invoices, managing vendor communications, and ensuring accurate financial documentation.

Responsibilities

Receiving and recording the receipt of invoices

Data entry for accurate processing

Review and process purchase card transactions

Request and review vendor statements

Assist with check runs

Matching and filing invoices and receipts

Answering queries from suppliers, contractors, and other business departments about accounts payable or payments made in a timely and professional manner

Partner with cross-functional teams to route invoices for payment and ensure supporting documentation is attached

All other duties as assigned

Accounts receivable and collections experience a plus

Required

Good organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritize, to manage multiple accounts

Interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution, for building strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and business partners

Data entry for accurately processing invoices and payment runs

Basic bookkeeping and accounting knowledge

Computer literacy, including confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel, and accounting and accounts payable software

Preferred

Knowledge of ComputerEase Accounting system preferred (not required)

Accounts receivable and collections experience a plus
