Responsibilities
Lead the technical strategy and architecture for our Flutter projects, making critical decisions on state management, app structure, and native integration that ensure our solutions are scalable, maintainable, and high-performance
Mentor and elevate a team of Flutter engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing sessions, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning
Drive the adoption of engineering best practices by establishing and socializing standards for testing, CI/CD, performance monitoring, and code quality across the mobile team
Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend leads to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions, challenging assumptions and advocating for sustainable architectural choices
Own the end-to-end quality and delivery of major product features, from initial concept and technical specification through to deployment and monitoring, ensuring we ship with confidence
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in native iOS & Android app development
At least 3 years focused on Flutter
Proven track record of leading the development of complex, shipped applications
Natural leader and mentor who derives satisfaction from elevating the skills of those around you
Demonstrated ability to guide technical decision-making for a team
Deep and extensive expertise in Flutter, encompassing advanced state management (Bloc, Riverpod), dependency injection, and animations
Ability to craft clean, layered architecture that stands the test of time
Strong strategic mindset, able to consider the long-term health, scalability, and business impact of technical solutions
Excellent communicator and collaborator, capable of building consensus between technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to translate high-level goals into actionable engineering plans
