The Principal Technical Program Manager will oversee program information for Furnishings & Equipment and Avionics & Electrical Systems, ensuring timely and budget-compliant product delivery while driving integration and development within the Program Management Office.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and communicate the budget, schedule, and product development plans to all stakeholders
Collaborate with the work package owners to define activities across all program phases: requirements & concept development, design, manufacturing, testing, qualification, certification, and transition to production
Support Supply Chain with management of external suppliers
Provide and maintain engineering inputs to the integrated master schedule to enable accurate program metrics and visibility
Define goals, track deliverables, identify risk, and drive mitigation plans; establish effective execution rhythms and tools to ensure alignment and accountability
Assess resource requirements and highlight gaps across various stages for all projects
Coordinate with other TPMs to align on priorities, summarizing status, and defining risks, mitigations, and opportunities
Manage the project roadmap within the framework of the overall program strategy

Required

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering or other related field
A minimum of eight (8) years in technical program/project management role, preferably in the aviation industry
A minimum of ten (10) years of total experience (an equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered)
Mechanical and/or electrical engineering experience throughout the product lifecycle, including qualification of seating, interiors, avionics, electrical systems, and in-flight entertainment
Project management experience in complex aircraft structures development through design, testing, and qualification phases
Experience with MS Project, Primavera, Jama, Jira and/or other project management tools
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing standard processes
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Ability to work cross‐functionally, build relationships, and manage conflict
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proactive delivery of communication and follow up
Ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints
Demonstrated agility and autonomous decision-making within ambiguous situations
