Investment Company Institute is seeking a creative and driven intern to support their strategic communications efforts. This internship will offer hands-on experience in crafting compelling messages and managing communications, while contributing to brand and reputation initiatives.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and editing content for newsletters, news releases, and social media
Support internal communications
Help monitor media coverage and prepare daily news summaries or media reports
Contribute to the planning and execution of communication strategies for events, announcements, and campaigns
Conduct research to support messaging, audience targeting, and competitive analysis
Assist in tracking performance metrics
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding

Qualification

MS Word proficiencyPowerPoint proficiencyExcel proficiencyWriting skillsOrganizational skillsDiscretionOral communication skillsAttention to detailStrategic thinking

Required

Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field
Strong oral and written communication skills, including spelling and grammar
Excellent organizational skills
Strong knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Discretion; ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
Detail-oriented with a passion for storytelling and strategic thinking
