Pediatric Clinical Neuropsychologist

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking Pediatric Neuropsychologists to join their growing team in Wisconsin. The role primarily involves conducting neuropsychological evaluations of children and adolescents in an outpatient clinic setting, providing consultation to clinical staff, and participating in education and training activities.

Responsibilities

Neuropsychological evaluations of children and adolescents in an outpatient clinic setting
Accurately complete all documentation responsibilities as outlined in department/service area procedures
Assist in education and training activities designed to enhance clinical staff skills
Act as a clinical resource to staff and to the community
Participate in education and training activities in hospitals and outpatient clinics as needed
Provide consultation to clinical staff in the interpretation of results and its impact on the treatment plan of the patient
Opportunities for research and training of graduate students are available if desired

Required

Psychologist license issued by the state of Wisconsin
Doctorate Degree in Psychology
Typically requires 2 years of experience in post-doctoral clinical experience and in appropriate supervised training applying neuropsychological services in a clinical setting
Successful completion of systematic didactic and experimental training in neuropsychology and neuroscience at a regionally accredited university
Eligibility for listing in the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology
Skilled as a generalist and has one or more specializations
Extensive knowledge and skills in the application of theory, practice and techniques of behavioral health and/or substance abuse treatment services
Demonstrated ability to function in a complex mental health delivery system

Preferred

Experience working with both medical/neurological and developmentally based patient populations
