RTP RESEARCH FELLOW ENG with Dr Biernacka

The successful candidate will apply biostatistics and statistical genetic methods to studies in precision psychiatry, collaborating with physician scientists and working on the development of novel statistical methods for genomic studies.

Responsibilities
Work with Dr. Joanna Biernacka’s team and apply biostatistics and statistical genetic methods to studies in precision psychiatry
Collaborate with multiple consortia including the PsycheMERGE network
Develop and evaluate novel statistical methods for genomic and biomarker studies of complex human traits
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in statistics/biostatistics (with statistical genetics emphasis) or psychiatric genetics
Experience with machine learning and AI methodology
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ph.D. degree in statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology, or a closely aligned area
Proof of English proficiency for J-1 Short term scholars, Research Scholars, Professors, Specialists, and Student Interns sponsored by Mayo Clinic
Preferred
Experience with machine learning and AI methodology
