Responsibilities

Oversees, guides, manages and integrates supply chain operations across the organization
Plans and coordinates fiscal, acquisition, clinical and administrative operations
Establishes, monitors and manages the performance and measurement of logistics functions for all aspects of the supply chain
Conducts logistics audits, compliance reviews and program effectiveness/efficiency reviews
Manages all activities involved in the supply chain management to include sourcing, procurement and logistics management activities
Responsible for linking major business functions and processes within the organization into a cohesive and high performing business model
Forecast planning and budget execution for supplies, subsistence, durable medical equipment, medical gases, expendable/non-expendable and capital equipment, inventory management, warehouse operations, transportation and distribution
Leads and/or participates in regular meetings, ensuring logistics needs and requirements are being met
Performs other related duties as assigned

GS-14 Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-13 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization
Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: Oversees, guides, manages and integrates supply chain operations across the organization; Establishes policy and ensures best practices are implemented as appropriate; Provide support, technical guidance and assistance to all organizational logistics personnel; Manages multi-million dollar budgets for staff training, expendable supplies, equipment (both capital and non-capital), assigned staff salaries, special projects, durable medical supplies and equipment; Plans, organizes and assigns work to subordinates engaged in logistics and property management through subordinate supervisors; Provides advice and counsel to employees and subordinate supervisors relative to work and administrative matters; Executes administration and personnel management responsibilities
