They are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Finance to lead financial operations for their rapidly growing portfolio in the US, influencing key decisions and driving financial performance.

Responsibilities

Lead month-end, budgeting, and forecasting processes across multiple US divisions
Review and analyze monthly reports, support business reviews, and prepare commentaries for group reporting
Ensure IFRS and regulatory compliance, including state and federal requirements
Oversee annual audits and internal controls testing
Support business cases, M&A due diligence, and integration activities
Translate financial data into actionable insights to guide decision-making
Participate in underwriting for bids and new contracts
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance reporting accuracy
Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives
Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform portfolio decisions
Contribute to long-term business planning and KPI development

Required

CPA designation (required)
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise financial accounting and analysis
Broad oversight of finance functions (Operations Accounting, FP&A, Internal Controls, Business Control)
Expertise with ERP/Accounting systems (Oracle NetSuite, Deltek Costpoint) and reporting tools (OneStream, Power BI)
Advanced Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills
Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and influence stakeholders at all levels
Experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and a track record of driving change and improve complex financial processes
Ability to work in a decentralized organization and foster teamwork across regions
Able to travel within the US and Canada
