Government Audit Manager (Contract)
Beech Valley Solutions is seeking an experienced Governmental Audit Manager to support their audit practice for a global CPA firm. This primarily remote contract role involves overseeing multiple client engagements and leading audit teams while ensuring efficiency and accuracy in financial audits.
Responsibilities
Execute audit engagements with precision and expertise
Oversee multiple client engagements, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
Ensure all engagements are completed within established time frames and budgets and prepared for Partner review
Lead and manage teams of 2–4 employees, providing guidance and support
Clearly communicate audit results and findings to those charged with governance
Build and maintain strong relationships with coworkers and clients
Mentor and develop Interns and Staff, including providing training
Deliver timely and constructive feedback across all levels
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Experience managing multiple audit client engagements throughout the year
Professionalism in the office and at client sites
Strong communication skills
Ability to prepare Government Financial Statements
Willingness and ability to travel as needed
B.A./B.S. in Accounting
Public accounting experience
Understanding of GAAS, GASB, and GAAP
CPA required
