Texas Instruments is seeking an innovative software development engineer who is a master of AI code generation platforms and tools. The AI-Assisted Development Engineer is critical to accelerating our digital transformation through rapid development of quality and test solutions using cutting-edge AI-assisted development techniques.

Responsibilities
Rapidly develop and deploy applications, scripts, and automation solutions using AI code generation platforms (Claude, Copilot, Cursor, etc.)
Build solutions across the full stack including:
Data analytics dashboards and visualization tools
Process automation workflows and scripts
System integration solutions and APIs
Web applications and backend services
Test automation frameworks
Leverage Model Context Protocol (MCP) and agentic frameworks to create intelligent, autonomous solutions
Design and implement scalable agent ecosystems for automated operations
Maintain and enhance existing quality and test systems
Serve as the subject matter expert on AI-assisted development tools and techniques
Establish best practices, patterns, and standards for AI code generation across the team
Create and maintain prompt libraries, templates, and development accelerators
Build infrastructure for managing multiple AI agents and automated workflows
Evaluate and adopt emerging AI development tools and platforms
Train and mentor team members on effective use of AI coding assistants
Develop training materials, workshops, and documentation
Share lessons learned and successful patterns across the organization
Foster a culture of AI-augmented development
Partner with Quality and Test teams to understand requirements and pain points
Work with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions
Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
Expertise in AI code generation platforms and tools
Experience with platforms like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and emerging agentic frameworks
Ability to rapidly develop and deploy applications, scripts, and automation solutions using AI code generation platforms
Experience building solutions across the full stack including data analytics dashboards, process automation workflows, system integration solutions, web applications, and test automation frameworks
Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and agentic frameworks
Experience in designing and implementing scalable agent ecosystems for automated operations
Ability to maintain and enhance existing quality and test systems
Experience serving as a subject matter expert on AI-assisted development tools and techniques
Ability to establish best practices, patterns, and standards for AI code generation
Experience creating and maintaining prompt libraries, templates, and development accelerators
