Responsibilities

Add the appropriate ingredient and amount to the designated hand add station according to batching software instructions

Effectively operate bag and/or tote packaging equipment

Replenish ingredient delivery systems

Prepare sampling materials for quality control purposes

Operate forklift to facilitate the movement of materials required for production

Inspect, set up, and test equipment including scales, load cells, and magnets

Perform housekeeping and general cleaning duties to ensure plant and employee safety

Take personal responsibility for the safety and quality of assigned tasks

Work effectively as part of a high-performance team to achieve production goals

Required

High school diploma or equivalent

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and follow instructions

Ability to operate packaging and material handling equipment efficiently

Physically able to lift 55 lbs. on a continuous basis

Must be able to stand, climb steps, bend, and walk throughout the shift

Preferred

Experience in operating industrial equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is desired
