They are looking for a Project Engineer (Civil/Roadway) who will use their civil engineering knowledge to deliver multimodal transportation infrastructure and develop construction documents, engineering estimates, and project specifications.

Responsibilities
Use civil engineering knowledge to deliver multimodal transportation infrastructure in a wide range of contexts from roadway reconstructions and streetscapes to signature trail projects
Fulfill production work on projects using programs such as MicroStation
Share knowledge with staff and clients to develop construction documents and details, engineering estimates, project specifications, and concept plans
Mentor colleagues to ensure projects are consistently of the highest quality
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering
A Professional Engineering (PE) license (in the Mid-Atlantic states a plus)
5+ years of experience developing construction documents with a preference for experience with the City of Pittsburgh or PennDOT
A broad knowledge base in civil engineering with a transportation focus and specific knowledge of horizontal and vertical roadway geometric design (MUTCD and AASHTO)
Proficiency in one or more of the following: MicroStation Inroads, MicroStation OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D
Experience developing construction documents, cost estimates and specifications
Working knowledge of Bluebeam and Microsoft office applications
Preferred
You have a keen interest in multimodal and active transportation design preferred
You deliver high-quality work, on time and within budget
You enjoy building strong relationships across disciplines and between departments
You have experience or interest in business development
You're motivated to tackle new challenges and develop creative solutions
