The role involves designing, building, and maintaining Appian applications to support complex financial, acquisition and analytic data processes in a fast-paced multi-contractor environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement business process management solutions using Appian BPM Suite

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Develop Appian objects such as Records, Reports, SAIL interfaces, Process Models, and Web APIs

Optimize and troubleshoot existing Appian applications for performance and scalability

Integrate Appian applications with external systems and data sources

Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including testing and deployment

Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards

Provide technical documentation and user guides for developed solutions

Create Tempo reports, Records, and business rules while troubleshooting issues

Develop reusable toolkits for different BPM process applications

Implement Timer Events, Message Events, and Tracking Events

Design and develop SAIL Forms, Dashboards, Reports, Services, and Entity-Backed Reports

Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into process models

Implement In-Bound and Out-Bound Web Service Components

Capture proper business workflow requirements and provide solution specifications throughout all SDLC phases
